Another hot day climbing Fairfield from Grasmere taking in the summits of Stone Arthur, Great Rigg and Seat Sandal along the way.
We set out from Grasmere on yet another hot sunny day as we climbed towards Fairfield.
We climbed up to Stone Arthur and then on to Great Rigg from here we had the final pull on to Fairfield. We had lunch over looking St Sunday Crag.
After we descended down passing the National Trust workers repairing the path down to Grisedale Tarn after taking in the views down Deep Dale to Ullswater.
We then begin the short but steep pull on to Seat Sandal getting great view over Grasmere and beyond. From here we followed the grassy ridge down and then through fields returning to Grasmere.
A rather hot day with great company.
