An Awesome Experience

Thanks John, for arranging the most amazing weekend of walking for our group of five. Tackling the high level route up Pillar was amazing and by far my biggest challenge yet but with your expert knowledge of both the route and the mountain, we were able to ascend to the summit safely and with confidence and then continue to bag a few more Wainwrights along the way. The following day's hike along the High Stile Ridge from Buttermere was beautiful and a great parter to the previous day's adventures. My Wainwright-ometer now reads 71! Can't wait to go walking again.

The Heatley family's walk up scafells pike sat 4th August 2012

My wife,myself and our 3 daughters climbed to the summit of scafells pike last Saturday 4th August under matt's expert guidance. It was an exhilarating day for us and a day that we will never forget!
Matt was first class, his decisions,based on the impending weather were spot on.he was very friendly,great with our daughters and made the hard walk very enjoyable.we had great weather until about a third of the way down then got hailstones and torrential rain lol.
Thank-you so much Matt! You are a real credit to TLDW.
Here's to Ben Nevis with girls next year!

John, many thanks for organising a great weekend for the 24 Peaks challenge for our group of 10. The Brathay Lodge in Ambleside was excellent, Trevor the owner was extremely helpful, coming in early to arrange our breakfast.On the challenge itself Matt was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable answering our many (!) Questions. He set a good pace and was fun to walk with, he's a credit to you and your company. Look forward to next years walks or challenge.

Hi there,
Walked with chris today doing haystacks. Can you please pass on my thanks to him for such a great day. It was a bit rushed at the end and I didn't get to express my thanks properly.
I will no doubt walk with you on future trips.
