Bleaberry Fell etc...
"No excuse is good enough for missing this easy walk, which is delightful throughout." |
A.W Wainwright on Walla Crag
|
A circuit of the high fells to the south east of Keswick is an enjoyable shorter day in the Lake District mountains, the views from summits such as Walla Crag and Bleaberry Fell are magnificent and show Derwent Water off to it's best. The descent by Ashness Bridge and across the terraced path above Derwent Water is also a joy. |
"This well known view has earned it's popularity not by it's extensiveness but by the variety and charm of many nearby features." |
A.W Wainwright
