A 3 peaks challenge with a more relaxed theme spread over three days to climb the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales, these being:

  • Ben Nevis (Scotland) 1344m / 4408ft
  • Scafell Pike (England) 978m / 3210ft
  • Mount Snowdon (Wales) 1085m / 3560ft

A more relaxed alternative to the 24 Hour Challenge.

We begin our attempt in Scotland, meeting at Fort William Railway Station for the first time at 9am on Saturday morning, departing for the first leg of the challenge, Ben Nevis. Climbing from Glen Nevis to the summit of Ben Nevis, we will be aiming to be up and down Ben Nevis around mid afternoon so that we can begin our journey south to Cumbria.

Hot drinks and snacks will be ready for us as we arrive back at the mini bus, we will then depart for our journey to The Lake District.

On Sunday morning we will meet at Booths Supermarket in Keswick for our journey to Wasdale or Seathwaite to climb Scafell Pike, using a slightly more interesting route than the standard three peaks challenge up and down. We will aim to be back down again by mid afternoon, returning again for hot drinks and snacks whilst departing for the trip to Snowdonia.

Mondays walk will begin at Pen Y Pass where we will walk a circular route to the highest point in Wales before returning to Pen Y Pass to complete the 3 peaks for a well earned meal and refreshment stop.

After the challenge we will be able to drop clients off at several locations, including accommodation, airports and railway stations (Including Manchester) en route back to the Lakes. Accommodation during the three days is not included in this price, however we will be more than happy to arrange this for you should you require this, We would recommend staying in Fort William on the Friday night, either Keswick or Cockermouth on the Saturday night and if you would like to stay over in Wales on the Monday night then Llanberis, otherwise we will be able to drop anyone off at stations and Airports en route back to Cumbria. Pick ups can be arranged on the Friday from Cockermouth at 2pm, Carlisle Train Station at 3.30pm and Glasgow Airport at 5.30pm (Arriva have a shuttle bus from near the train stations leaving on regular intervals and taking 15/20 minutes, last check £4.50 pp). Due to the rush hour and logistics Glasgow Central will not be a collection point.

Included in the price:

Pick up and drop off at central locations during and after the challenge.
Packed lunch and flask on each walk, hot drinks and snacks on transportation.
A qualified guide on each leg with a ratio of 1:8 maximum.
A driver throughout the challenge.
Certificate of challenge completion.
A CD of pictures within one week of the walk.
