Dear John & Lyanda,
Just a note to say a huge thank you for playing a large part in helping us have another great holiday in the Lake District.
As always we felt completely safe walking the fells with yourself or the other guides who led us, namely Bryan & Alex, both of whom did a great job.
We think that one of the main strengths of your company is the way your guides and yourselves interact with people.
We are definitely not athletic types and yet your patience and encouragement have enabled us to achieve way beyond what we could do alone.
As I sit here, back at my desk, it is easy to think about how lucky you are working outside all day but I know that many hours of preparation go unseen.
We're already booked to see you again in November and are looking forward to the Borrowdale Weekend.

Scafell Pike - 14th August 2011

Hi

I just wanted to say thank you to Brian for a god day out at Scafell Pike on 14 August. Although my friend and I had already walked Ben Nevis I think we both found Scafell Pike much more of a challenge. I freaked out at one point and Brian calmly helped me get down.

Both my friend and I complained after Ben Nevis when we found the guide lacking all round. I wanted this time to say that Brian was very knowledgeable of the area and kept us informed of where we were and where we were going and what sights we were seeing.

Scafell Pike

Hi Lyanda,

We had a great time on Saturday so thanks very much for lending us John! He was informative, caring and interesting but never invasive. His recommendation about the Kirkstile was also bang on; I tried the golden ale and the porter and both were stunning.

When we come up again we'll definitely call you to arrange a walk that tests and inspires us even more.

hi matt , thank you for being such good company and being very knowledgeable on the assent of Scafell Pike, i really enjoyed it, it made my weekend , knowing that i had now climbed the 3 peaks, weren't we lucky with the weather

I recently went up Scafell Pike, guided by John and can't recommend him highly enough; he gave complete confidence, was professional , friendly and very knowledgeable.Would definitely use again !
