The Route:
From Seatoller we will follow the road a short while before crossing the fields to Stonethwaite. After a short walk along the valley track we will climb steeply to the summit of Bessyboot.
The great route continues over Dovesnest Crag and Combe Head, with wonderful views over Borrowdale to the rocky summit of Glaramara.
From Glaramara we will descend the good path down the Thorneythwaite Crag ridge back to Seatoller.

Directions:
From Keswick – Leave Keswick on the Borrowdale Road (from the mini roundabout near the co-op) Follow this road for several miles, passing through the village of Rosthwaite, Continue on this main road until the village of Seatoller is reached, a National Trust pay and display car park will be found on the right as you enter the village, we will meet here.
