Walk Difficulty
Although sometimes strenuous our walks are well within the capabilities of most people.
An average level of fitness is advisable for any walk of Hard or Very Hard.
| Easy | A shorter distance walk, these are generally taken at a slower pace. Any difficult sections e.g. rocky sections are short and easily crossed, paths are generally well made or easy. |
| Moderate | Generally between 6 and 10 miles in distance, with not too many rough paths |
| Hard | A longer walk, 10 miles plus, with often rough paths |
| Very Hard | A long walk, over 16 miles |
| Exposure | In addition to the above ratings we often indicate the level of exposure, from mild (e.g.slight drops below the path) to severe exposure (e.g. an exposed edge) |
