| I recently went on the walks to Helvellyn and Scafell Pike , and found them to be very well organized and thoroughly enjoyable . Since the Groups are restricted to eight , it allows time and space for all ; On the descent from Scafell Pike , I developed an unexpected problem with my legs . A potentially hazardous situation was immediately diffused by John , our guide for the day. He quickly organized for the majority of the Group to be safely escorted back , whilst then giving his undivided attention to supporting me back to base. His quiet confidence and obvious experience were of the greatest encouragement , and I was patiently guided back to base after several extra hours . The mark of a sound organization is truly highlighted when things go wrong , and the professionalism and kindness of your Guide will never be forgotten. I certainly intend to go on more of the walks when I have recovered , and needless to say I highly commend the Lake District Walker to all ! |

| I wanted to say a massive thankyou for yesterday - i had a great time. I loved every minute of the day and it has made me realise that there is more to the lake district than my usual walks - i cannot wait to experience the higher fells / mountains on more of your guided walks. |

Hi John,
Remember us.......? You took the Family up Scafell Pike over the autumn half term.
Apologies for not getting back to you sooner, but thanks for your expertise in getting us all [including the addition to the party who tagged on] up, we wouldn't have managed without you. We all thoroughly enjoyed the walk/climb even though it was not the best of conditions.

Thought you may like to know that we made base camp on schedule without any problems associated with fitness,blisters etc. This was due to our training of which you were an important part. |
