Easdale from Grasmere

Easdale from Grasmere

"Ever since it first became fashionable to make excursions to behold the scenic wonders of the English Lake District Easdale Tarn has been a popular venue for visitors: a romantic setting, inured in bracken clad moraines with a background of craggy fells."
A.W Wainwright

The waterfalls and tarns above Easdale and Grasmere make a wonderful shorter excursion for all the family, taking in the wonderful waterfalls of Sour Milk Gill and climbing to Easdale Tarn.

A short walk around the tarn and we will descend into Far Easdale, a quiet valley leading back to Grasmere.

The views are stunning and include Helm Crag, Fairfield as well as Grasmere and Rydal Water.
