Brock Crags
|
"The unspoilt village of Low Hartsop has great charm and it's environment is one of quite loveliness, much of it contributed by the hanging woods of the steep fell that rises immediately behind." |
A.W Wainwright
|
Brock Crags rise steeply from the Hartsop Valley, this steep south western flank is in contrast to the north of the fell, where the broad rambling summit descends gently to the beautiful Angle Tarn, over Cat Crag. To the east a ridge continues over a gentle col, by Satura Crags before climbing towards Rest Dodd.
The summit offers a fine viewpoint over the valley below with a wonderful view of Brothers Water, deep below the summit cairn.
