Brim Fell
|
"Brim Fell is the mile-long whalebacked ridge linking Coniston Old Man with Swirl How." |
A Wainwright
|
Brim Fell, the grassy plateau to the north of Coniston Old Man, is a grassy promenade, barely a separate summit in it's own right, but a pleasant walk with good views all around, particularly from the edges of the crags, looking down towards Low Water and Levers Water.
Interesting routes can be found climbing the eastern face of Brim Fell, around Raven Tor, the shoulder climbing between Levers Water and Low Water.
