    A good day in slightly damp conditions today as we spent a day on the Silver How ridge running a navigation training course.

    A nice taste of the spring sunshine climbing Skiddaw by Ullock Pike, taking the summits of Long Side, Carl Side and Bakestall, with some dramatic views of the Lake District.

    A great day today climbing Helvellyn by Striding Edge and descending over White Side. Despite some cloud on the tops it was a remarkably calm day today.

    A damp and windy day today on the Silver How ridge proved a good environment to practice some navigation skills for a beginners navigation training day

    A very cloudy day today as we climbed Blencathra by Halls Fell Ridge, the overnight rain had cleared by the time we were ready to set off but the cloud was barely above the houses in Threlkeld this morning.

    A wonderful day today climbing the Langdale Pikes from the New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel in the Langdale Valley.

    A good day climbing the Langdale Pikes today from the New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel, a little cloud on the tops, but this cleared as we dropped down to Pike O'Stickle and Loft Crag.
  • Morland and Kings Meaburn

    A short low level walk today around Morland and Kings Meaburn with a large group on a yoga retreat staying at Morland, near Penrith.
  • Esk Pike & Great End from Langdale

    Despite not having many views we had a great day climbing Esk Pike and Great End from the Old Dungeon Ghyll Hotel in Langdale taking in the additional summits of The Allen Crags and Rossett Pike.
  • Black Crag & Holme Fell from Tarn Hows

    A real day of two halves today as we climbed Black Crag in thick mist this morning before the mist broke to give us some great hazy views from Holme Fell after lunch.
