    A great day today climbing Scafell Pike from Seathwaite, despite a lack of views from the tops there was plenty of snow up high today.

    A very wild day today climbing the Crinkles from the Old Dungeon Ghyll Hotel in the Langdale Valley, a little warm and wet on the tops and truly wild wind as we descended The Band back to Langdale.

    A good day climbing by the Corridor Route towards Scafell Pike, some deep snow towards the top of the Corridor Route meant that we didn't reach the summit today though.

    A short day teaching some basic winter skills on Raise today with a young family, damp snow and rain on the fells but a good few hours above Glenridding
  • Lake District Winter Skills Day 2

    A wonderful day today on Great End climbing by The Band to the summit, a good freeze overnight gave us good snow and there were some wonderful clear views

    A great day today near Esk Hause for the first day of a two day Lake District Winter Skills Course. Plenty of good snow up high and even some good views as the clouds broke in the afternoon.

    A truly wonderful day today climbing High Street from Hartsop, near Patterdale. Plenty of good snow on the high tops, added to that we had the luxury of light winds and blue skies for much of the day!

    Day two of our Scottish Winter Skills Course saw us head up towards Beinn Odhar Mhor above Loch Sheil, windy conditions made for an interesting day
