Lets face it, it's called the Lake District for the most obvious reason so what can you do on a rainy day?.....Yes, get wet! |

This event will take place in Stickle Ghyll, above the New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel in the Langdale Valley, a wonderful series of waterfalls, scrambles and pools giving a perfect half days challenge. In Stickle Gill we start at the bottom of the gill and climb up the waterfalls, with plenty of great plunge pools along the way. All technical equipment required will be provided by The Lake District Walker but expect to get wet so bring some spare clothing to change into afterwards and of course a towel. Each participant will be required to bring suitable equipment for their chosen event, please see Equipment Required. |
