"The panorama is as comprehensive as one might expect from a fell right in the centre of things. It is a beautiful view too, especially to the west and north."
A Wainwright

The northern fells of the Lake District offer some great walking, from the remote Back O'Skiddaw fells to the high summit of Skiddaw, the third highest summit in England, there is a wide diversity of terrain on offer in this area of the Lake District, this route, from Caldbeck to Keswick traverses the high ground.

A wonderful linear walk crossing the high moorland of High Pike and the Back O'Skiddaw before climbing to the higher summit of Skiddaw and then descending by Latrigg to Keswick.
