The village of Patterdale is perfectly situated at the foot of Ullswater, surrounded on all other sides by high ground, the land to the east is topped by the grassy summit of High Street while to the west the fells climb over steep rough ground to the wonderful summits of Helvellyn & Fairfield. Over the weekend we will climb two of the finest and most contrasting routes that the area has to offer, on Saturday we will climb The Deepdale Horseshoe, one of the best routes to the summit of Fairfield whilst on Sunday we will climb Helvellyn via the wonderful Striding Edge ridge. Borrowdale Walking Weekend: Saturday 26th September 2015

The Borrowdale Valley offers some of the most varied walking in the Lake District, from the high tops of Scafell Pike and Great Gable at the southern end of the valley though long ridges like High Spy to the beautiful lower rambling fells of Grange Fell. Over this weekend we will cover two classic fell walks, both different but both very special. On Saturday we will climb Scafell Pike from Seathwaite, a wonderful circular walk climbing the highest peak in England. Newlands Walking Weekend: Saturday 12th September 2015
£44.00One of the quieter valleys in the Lake District the Newlands Valley offers some great walking, this weekend takes in two of the best horseshoe walks in the Lake District, on Saturday we make a circuit of the Coledale Horseshoe above Braithwaite, a wonderful horseshoe taking in several summits including Grisedale Pike an Causey Pike.
