"Bleaberry Fell is a supperb viewpoint, ideally situated for a long and lazy contemplation of a beautiful panorama."

A wonderful linear walk traversing the central spine of high ground beween Grasmere and Keswick, being in the exact centre of the Lake District this route has the 360° panoramic views you would expect from it's position.

Ullscarf	726 metres/2382 feet
High Tove	515 metres/1690 feet
High Seat	608 metres/1995 feet
Bleaberry Fell	590 metres/1936 feet
Walla Crag	379 metres/1243 feet

We begin by getting the mini-bus to Grasmere from Keswick, from where we will walk back to Keswick over the Central Fells.

From Grasmere we walk up the track through Far Easedale from where we climb onto the wide ridge at Greenup Edge. At this point we turn north, with views over the whole of the Lake District as we follow the long wide ridge to Keswick.

On the way we take in the fells of Ullscarf, High Tove, High Seat, Bleaberry Fell and Walla Crag before dropping down into the woods for a shaded finale into the centre of Keswick.

Although this walk is a long one, much of the height gain is done at the start, with most of the day spent high in the fells which really form the centre of the whole Lake District.

Location Info	Keswick is easily found just off the A66 and A591, there is plenty of parking around the town, the Moot Hall is easily found in Main Street in the centre of town, we will meet outside the entrance.
