“Completed Scafell on the Saturday and Langdale Pikes on Sunday 3rd and 4th November 2012 both with John who had great knowledge and Leadership skills and made it so enjoyable many thanks Pete”
“A group of 8 of us did Striding edge and Helvellyn today guided by Alex. Can I just say that this is the first time I have been on a guided walk having done a lot of hiking in the past. I was extremely impressed by his knowledge and the care he took to make sure that everyone got down the difficult bits on the hike. He was very affable and made the day relaxed and go very smoothly. The whole day was very enjoyable and I wouldn't hestitate to use this company again. Highly recommended.”
“I wish to extend our thank's all at lake district walker, especially our guide JOHN. We had an absolutely FANTASTIC time on our 3 guided walks. The views we had from Hevellyn Were AMAZING. Thank's again see you next year Martin”
“Hi John I just wanted to drop you a note to thank you, Tim, Hugh and all at Lake District Walkers again for such an amazing weekend – and to finish with a glass of bubbles was such a treat! Thank you sooooo much! The event was extremely well organised and Tim and Hugh provided encouragement, support and useful hints and tips along the way – both really lovely guys!”
“Thanks John, for arranging the most amazing weekend of walking for our group of five. Tackling the high level route up Pillar was amazing and by far my biggest challenge yet but with your expert knowledge of both the route and the mountain, we were able to ascend to the summit safely and with confidence and then continue to bag a few more Wainwrights along the way. The following day's hike along the High Stile Ridge from Buttermere was beautiful and a great parter to the previous day's adventures. My Wainwright-ometer now reads 71! Can't wait to go walking again.”
