Booking is easy with the Lake District Walker, you can either book online or over the telephone on (local rate).
Using the menu at the top of the page select the appropriate option:
- If you're looking for an event on a specific date you can browse our Diary and select the date of your choice.
- If you're looking for dates for a specific walk then you can browse Routes.
- For courses then select the Navigation & Skills option.
- If you're looking for Ghyll Scrambling or Rock Climbing then the Activities tab is for you.
- Challenge events and longer days are listed in the Challenges tab.
- If you're part of a large group or would like something tailor made then select Private Guiding.
Once you have selected your event it's easy to book through the website, select your date from the list or diary
If there is a selection of start times you will be prompted to select your desired start time from the available options.
Enter your group size and click the 'Book Now' button.
You can now choose to proceed to checkout or to continue shopping.
CHECKOUT
If this is your first booking with The Lake District Walker then please fill in your details in the 'Billing Address' section, if you are a previous customer then click the 'Already have an account' link and log into your account.
Select your preferred payment method in the top right box.
If you have a Gift Voucher or coupon code please enter your code in the box.
When ready click the 'Place Order Now' button to complete the booking.
MY ACCOUNT
Once you have made your booking you can check back into the 'My Account' section of the website at any time.
Once logged into the 'My Account' section of the website you can now browse all your previous bookings with The Lake District Walker.
To View the Joining Instructions of your event navigate to the 'My Bookings' area.
And click on the 'View Booking' link for the booking you would like to look at:
You will now see the details of your booking, in the top right hand corner you will see a link for 'Joining Instructions' this link will take you to a printable page that will give all the details for your event, including directions, postcode and kit lists.
