The two rocky summits of Angletarn Pikes, sitting above the lovely Angle Tarn make an interesting summit, a short detour from the main Patterdale to High Street path will reward the walker with a perfectly formed rocky summit with wonderful views.

Ton the north east a long ridge descends off the main ridge, down to the Martindale Valley, crossing Beda Head, the summit of Beda Fell.

Angle Tarn is a popular destination in the summer, the picturesque tarn makes a perfect picnic spot.
