The long grassy ridge of Broom Fell descends west from Lords Seat to Widow Hause and Graystones, to the south slopes descend to the forested Aiken Beck and Darling How while to the north lies the wonderful Wythop Valley.

The views west over the Lorton Valley are magnificent as is the prospect across Whinlatter Pass towards the Grasmoor Fells.
