"This peak has great character, for shapeliness and a sturdy strength combine well in it's appearance, and that splendid cairn etched against the sky is at once an invitation and a challenge."
A Wainwright

The conical summit of Pike O'Blisco, with is sumit cairn clearly visible from the Langdale Valley is an obvious target for many fellwalkers, either as the target for the days walking or as a precursor to a traverse of the Crinkle Crags ridge beyond.

the magnificent views from the summit include stunning views of the head of the Langdale Valley, with the Crinkle Crags and Bowfell worth of particular attention, a short walk from the summit will bring a dramatic view over the Langdale Valley into view.

Good paths lead to the summit from the roadside above Wall End Farm in the Langdale Valley and from Red Tarn to the west.
