Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK is a target of many walkers, and the Montain Track up and down the mountain from Glen Nevis puts the summit within reach of all walkers.

From the Glen Nevis visitor Centre we will climb by the Mountain Track, sometimes known as the tourist track, to the summit of Ben Nevis.
Although known as the Tourist Track, this path should not be underestimated, it's still a long hard days climbing in the mountains.
Each participant will be required to bring suitable equipment for their chosen event, please see Kit List tab above.

Directions
Follow the A82 north through Fort William, at the mini-roundabout turn right, Belford Road, signposted to Glen Nevis, follow this road until the Visitor Centre Car Park is reached on the left, we will meet outside the Centre.
Each participant is expected to have suitable personal equipment for their activity this should include the following:
- Walking shoes / Boots
- Waterproof clothing (Jacket and trousers)
- Suitable clothing for walking (no jeans)
- Warm tops
- Packed lunch
- Spare clothing
- Water
- Hat
- Gloves
For winter walks (November to March) events please also bring the following:
- Torch (preferably a headtorch)
- Spare batteries for the above
- Spare Gloves
- Flask & Hot Drink
